Message from the President
The following are FSB distinctives.
We believe…
- Doctrine and Bible are foundational and essential to the Christian life.
- Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone; nothing more, nothing less, nothing else.
- Teaching God’s Word and loving people are keys in ministry.
- It is essential to instill in students the importance of taking obedient steps of faith.
- Education, talents, and gifts have their place but will not carry a person in ministry; humility and a dependence on God will.
- The ministry is not a profession; it is a calling and privilege.
- A high emphasis on expository preaching is of great importance in the training of pastors.
- Every student is important. Therefore, faculty and staff are encouraged to be involved in the lives of students through activities, fellowship at mealtimes, and prayer/discipleship groups. We seek to have a family atmosphere at FSB.
- Practical ministry experience is a tremendous asset in the classroom. Therefore, every faculty member comes to FSB with full-time ministry experience.
- We believe it is important for students who are going into ministry to graduate without school debt. Therefore, we make every effort to keep costs down. One of those ways is that every faculty and staff member at Frontier serves as a missionary.
The school motto, taken from Matthew 11:29, is an invitation to become a disciple of the Lord and “learn” of Him. Frontier School of the Bible is a unique school in a unique setting that provides a wonderful place to take His yoke and prepare for life and ministry.
Yours in Christ,
Nelson Miles, President
